Featuring Ruth King on Vocals.
Ruth King is one of my favorite people, songwriters and singers. She became an inspiration and mentor to me.
She is Profoundly wise and kind and her voice is unmatched in its earthy goodness. I wrote this song back in 2007 when I was filling in for a few months playing some backup guitar and vocals in Ruth’s band.
I had always envisioned her voice on it.
Now some 20 years later, it’s finally come to fruition.

The song could be about a lot of things. Could be political-social cometary
or about a relationship between two lovers.
Regardless the theme is unchanged.
It’s a tune about trying to get along with each other.
